Kano x Reader (Kagepro) 6

You woke up to the birds chirping loudly as the sun was shining through the window that you fell asleep looking through that night. You stretched your arms over your head, recalling all of the events that happened yesterday.

You weren’t annoyed with Kano anymore, you wanted to believe that he had his
reasons for acting the way he did. Plus, you couldn’t really stayed cross with him, you were someone who forgave people easily, people loved that about you.

Walking out of the door of your room, you sheepishly walked into the kitchen, yawning.
“Morning (Name).” Kido smiled at you as she continued to make breakfast. “Morning.” You replied, yawning yet again. “Food will be ready in just a minute.”

You felt arms wrap around your waist from behind. “Good morning (Name)~.” A too familiar voice that you adored and were annoyed with at the same time.
“Kano...get off.” You said, annoyed. Secretly, you wanted to hug him back, but it was early in the morning, and in the morning, you weren’t the most happy person to be around.
“No way (Name)-chan!~.” Kano cooed, the “chan” part made you snapped. You pried him off of you and left the kitchen, resisting the urge to just slap him upside the head. You disliked being called “chan.” It was just a pet-peeve of yours.

“Kano, you need to not be so clingy.” Kido scolded him, getting plates for every member of the gang.
“I just can’t help myself! She is so fun to tease!~” Kano chuckled to himself, receiving a hit to the stomach by Kido. Kano quickly clutched his stomach, cursing under his breath. “You inflict more pain with every punch.” Kido gave him the death-stare, causing him to back himself to the corner of the kitchen.

“Whatever, but If Shintaro were here, it would have been worse.” Kido sighed. Shintaro treated you like Momo, like his own little sister. Maybe it was because you and Momo were best friends? Or maybe it was because he took a liking to you? For whatever reason, he treated you like a little sister, and you didn’t mind it.

“Breakfast is ready people!” Kido yelled, whacking Kano on the head with her frying pan. “Kido you're going too far!” Kano protested, Kido just scoffed and gave the plates to the other dan members as they came to get food. You quickly grabbed your food, and gobbled it all up in less than three minutes.

“Shintaro…” Momo sighed.
“What?” He questioned confused.
“Um...Why are you dumping your coke on the pancakes?” Momo’s voice grew a bit disgusted.
“It’s the syrup you got a problem with it?” Shintaro protested, taking a bite of the coke-syrup pancakes. Everyone else in the Dan gave him the “look” and continued to eat. On the other hand, Kano was trying his best to hold his laughter. It was good moments like these that made him forget about his past and lies. It also made you smile, you were too, trying your best not to laugh.

You left the table and grabbed your phone from your room. Nothing new on any of your social medias. You shoved your phone in your pocket, heading for the living room and plopping yourself on the couch. Sure, things were going great now, but… how long was this happiness going to last?
