Kano x Reader (Kagepro) 2

This is a sequel to my Kano x Reader [Oneshot!] Yes, it was requested that I continued this so I did! Hope you like it.~

You woke up the next morning to a soft and warm bed. You were a bit hazy on what happened last night. You sat up and took a look at your clock, it read 10:56 a.m.
“Crap! I slept in!” You yelled throwing off the covers you went to your closet to change and then ran out of your room.
“Morning (Name).” Kido said as she was sitting on the couch, listening to music through one ear.
“Morning.” You replied back. “Hey, have any idea where Kano ran off too?”
“He hasn’t left his room, I bet hes in there.” Kido said as she looked up at you.
“Thanks danchou!” You waved off to her and headed over to Kano’s room. You knocked on his door and waited for a response. After about a minute or two of waiting for the door to open, you reached for the doorknob and slowly opened the door.
You were trying to be as quiet as you could just incase he was still sleeping. You crept over to the side of his bed and yep, still sleeping. Now you didn’t feel as bad waking up late.
After a while of just sitting on a chair by his bed, you noticed that his wound on his arm must of reopened during the night. The bandages were bloody so you grabbed some clean and unused ones and slowly began to unwrap the bloody ones.

You were about to finish unwrapping the bloodied bandages when you saw Kano staring right at you.
“O-oh you're awake.” You said as you finished unwrapping.
“I’ve been awake this entire time.” Kano replied, you just glared at him and grabbed the clean bandages that were next to you.
“So, hows your arm been?” You asked.
“It’s been a pain but it could be way worse.” Kano smirked. “If it wasn’t for you it probably would have been infected by now.”
“Yea, yea. You’re welcome.” You said a bit agitated. Remember, you didn’t get much sleep either, neither did Kano.
“Why do you worry about me so much?” Kano asked, his smirk going away.
“Anyone would be worried if their friend went out on strolls at freaking 1:00 in the morning.” You replied, purposely tugging on the bandage a bit hard making Kano wince a bit.
“Friend, huh.”
“Did I say something wrong?” You finished wrapping the clean bandages and threw the old bloodied ones away.
Kano stayed silent as he sat up on his bed. You could tell by looking at his eyes that he was clearly upset. You decided to give him some space until a voice stopped you.
“Don’t go.”
Your body froze. Were you hearing things? You turned around and walked over to Kano.
“Something wrong?” You asked. Before Kano could answer he brought you into a hug.
“W-what are you doing?”
“Thanks… for yesterday and today.” Kano said. You were silent as you hugged Kano back.
“Don’t leave without telling me again.”
“No promises-.” Kano began and you shot an evil stare at him.
“F-fine I will.”
“Thank you.” You said as you smiled and buried your head into his chest.
